PRIVACY POLICY
Overview
Vietravel (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to respecting the privacy of our Customers. This Personal Data Protection Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) outlines the collection, processing, and use of online personal data applicable to all our websites. We strive to provide a safe and secure user experience for all our global travelers.
By using our services or agreeing to this Policy, you authorize us to collect, use, and process your personal data as stipulated herein. This authorization remains in effect until terminated in accordance with applicable laws.
For the purposes of this Policy, personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (i.e., an individual).
By selecting and agreeing to this Personal Data Protection Policy, the Customer authorizes us to collect, use, and/or process the Customer’s personal data as stipulated herein. This authorization shall take effect from the moment the Customer provides consent until it is terminated in accordance with the law. If the Customer does not agree to the processing of their personal data as described in this Policy, please refrain from using our services or accessing our websites.
The Customer’s personal data will be stored and processed in whole or in part in Vietnam and other countries worldwide. If the Customer accesses Vietravel’s website from countries other than Vietnam, the use of this website constitutes consent to transfer data out of the Customer's home country to Vietnam.
Note: Our websites contain links to other websites over which we have no control. Vietravel is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other websites the Customer chooses to connect to from a Vietravel website. We encourage Customers to review the privacy policies of those third-party websites to understand how they process, use, and share personal data.
Types of Personal Data and Collection Methods
The Customer understands, acknowledges, and agrees that Vietravel is permitted to process the personal data of the Customer, their authorized representatives, and other relevant parties, if provided to or in contact with Vietravel, including personal data updated, amended, or supplemented from time to time, including:
Standard Data: Collected data may include: Full name, date of birth, gender, place of birth, permanent address, contact address, nationality, images, phone number, email, identification documents, digital account information, personal data reflecting activities and activity history in cyberspace, and other information/data associated with an individual or helping to identify a specific individual as prescribed by law.
Sensitive Data: In certain cases, we may collect additional personal data related to health status, family relationships, employment status, and other information categorized as sensitive personal data under Article 4 of Decree 356/2025/ND-CP.
The Customer also agrees and confirms that all personal data and information provided, posted, or uploaded to our website is accurate and lawful, and that the Customer shall not use such data and information for any illegal purposes. Vietravel, acting as an intermediary platform, provides no warranties and assumes no liability to any party regarding this matter.
If the Customer provides us with any personal data of a third party, the Customer represents and warrants that they have obtained the consent, license, and/or permission from such third party to share and transfer their personal data to us, and for us to collect, store, use, disclose, and/or process such data in accordance with this Policy.
Storage
We will store the Customer's personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected and will cease storage in accordance with statutory requirements.
Purposes of Collection and Processing
The Customer agrees and confirms that their personal data is processed for purposes including, but not limited to:
Authentication and identification of the Customer.
Notifying the Customer of available products and services or sending other advertising/marketing materials, either directly or through partners and advertising strategies from Vietravel, its affiliates, or member companies; or contacting the Customer for feedback on our products and services.
Contacting the Customer to provide information regarding membership registration and customer care/support (via phone calls, emails, messages, or any other communication channels); or sending messages regarding updates such as new products, promotions, and preferential policies. The nature and frequency of these communications will vary according to our business activities.
Providing services as agreed with the Customer.
Providing data to third-party partners involved in service delivery (transportation, accommodation, dining, attractions, translation, etc.).
Providing data to competent authorities for visa-related services (Embassies, Consulates, etc.).
Issuing invoices and documents in accordance with legal regulations.
Complying with requests from competent State Authorities.
Other purposes as described to the Customer at the time of data collection (if any).
Disclosure of Personal Data
We will not provide Customer information to any third party except in cases where it is necessary to fulfill the "Purposes of Collection and Processing" mentioned above, as required by competent State authorities, under legal regulations, or when such disclosure is necessary for us to provide services/utilities to the Customer.
Entities Authorized to Access, Collect, and Process Personal Data
The Customer consents that their personal data may be processed by Vietravel, its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, and organizations or individuals cooperating/associating with Vietravel, or partners hired/contracted by Vietravel to perform functions related to Vietravel’s products and services consistent with the purposes stated in this Policy.
Overseas Transfer of Personal Data
Vietravel may need to transfer the Customer’s personal information outside the territory of Vietnam if any service providers or strategic/affiliated partners (“foreign companies”) are involved in providing part of Vietravel’s Services.
Processing Methods
The Customer agrees that their personal data may be processed by any method according to Vietravel’s policies and practices, including but not limited to: collection, recording, confirmation, storage, correction, combination, access, retrieval, recovery, encryption, decryption, copying, sharing, transmission, provision, transfer, use of cyberspace, electronic devices/means, or other forms to transfer personal data domestically or abroad, deletion, destruction, and other related actions.
Commencement and Termination of Data Processing
Vietravel shall commence personal data processing activities from the time the data is provided until a written request to terminate processing is received from a competent State Authority.

Unforeseen Risks
During the processing of personal data, Vietravel and relevant parties will apply necessary and appropriate technical and security measures to protect the Customer’s personal data. However, the Customer understands and acknowledges that no technical system or security measure is absolutely secure. Online transactions, cyberspace, and personal data processing always involve potential risks, including but not limited to data leakage, exposure, exploitation, or misappropriation. In such events, the Customer agrees that Vietravel and relevant parties shall not be held liable to the Customer or any associated parties.

Personal Data Processing Department
To ensure information security and specialized management of Customer data, Vietravel has established a Data Processing Department, consisting of members assigned by the Company’s Leadership based on operational needs.
Functions and Duties: Managing Customer personal data; preventing, detecting, and handling violations related to personal data; protecting Customer information from leaks or damage caused by cyberattacks or viruses; restoring availability and access to personal data in a timely manner in case of physical or technical incidents; and ensuring regular testing and evaluation of technical and organizational measures to ensure processing security.
